The Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) is seeking a motivated, self-directed candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our high performing-dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant 2. This person is the first point of contact for the department and is critical part of department’s engagement with graduate students. This individual selected for this position will provide administrative support for our graduate student leadership team and must be comfortable responding to a variety of administrative and student issues. The candidate must be flexible and adaptive to a variety of customers and responsive to needs of all visitors. This position is crucial administrative support to the leadership team at GPSA.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
The ideal candidate forthis position demonstrates attention to detail, comfortable asking question andexploring answers, works well independently and in a team, and takes pride inthe quality of their work. The selected candidate will be expected tohave a good knowledge of the GPSA lawbook, constitution, policies andprocedures.
