The incumbent in this position is responsible for the review and coordination of all contracts as they flow between the Purchasing, Legal, Accounting, Risk Management, Information Technology and End-User Departments in order to ensure compliance with the policies that govern the Purchasing Department and the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF). The individual facilitates the contract review process between the Purchasing, Legal, Accounting, Risk Management, Information Technology and End-User Departments; reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns; and enforces Purchasing Policies and Procedures. Employee also has direct contact with suppliers/vendors during the contract review and negotiation process. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or related field is required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of related experience working as a contract manager or working in a similar capacity is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Proficient computer skills including expertise in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; and prior experience utilizing contract tracking systems is preferred. Lawson experience highly preferred. Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
