Responsible for identifying community development needs for the underbanked and underserved in the communities we serve and future communities, in support of Nusenda’s strategic initiative. Ensures Credit Union’s compliance with Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) requirements. Cultivate and develop key strategic partnerships with external constituents to seek collaborative grant and funding opportunities. Assist with community service and support activities as a representative of Nusenda, supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation of community outreach partnerships, including external financial capability programs, and other philanthropic initiatives, and the impact of Nusenda Community investments. Manage and designs the development of educational activities, coordinating with partner organizations and the community.


Requirements
Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Education, Sociology, Social Work, Political Science or similar.
Highly independent and skilled in nurturing relationships with members of the community and professionally represent the Credit Union and Nusenda Foundation.
Experience in foundation development, management, and grant writing. Knowledge of financial institutions and CDFI programs and services.
Increase use of data to demonstrate impact.
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization and train critical HR topics to leaders. Strong performance management and leadership skills to provide advisory services to external departments and manage direct reporting staff effectively. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive innovative strategies and implement them in a timely, effective manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.
