Labor Sorter/Picker Position, Full Time, Immediate Start, Multiple Shifts
Leadpoint Business Services has Labor positions available for immediate hire at our location in Albany, NY. These labor positions work as a quality control employee inside a recycling center. In this labor job, you hand-sort recyclable materials on a moving conveyor belt. This position should be able to accurately organize recycled materials by category (like newspaper, aluminum cans and plastics).
This is a full-time, permanent labor position doing work that helps the environment and protects the planet. You’ll have the chance to start right away and move up over time.
Benefits for Labor Sorter/Picker
First shift works 5:30am to 5:00pm,
Second shift works 6:30pm to 5:00am
This is a full-time job with reliable weekly pay.
Overtime and incentive pay may be available.

Responsibilities of the Labor Sorter/Picker
Identify recyclables and sort into appropriate bins
Lift up to 50 pounds
Keep your work area clean
Follow safety rules
Stand at a work station during your shift
Remove items from the conveyor belt

Attention to Detail
Able to work assigned schedule
Ability to follow instruction
Complete required screening essential to the position
