Position Summary:

We are seeking to fill a federally funded postdoctoral position in the Department of Neuroscience, Scripps Research Institute located in Jupiter, Florida.

The position will focus on the study of neural network structure and function in mouse models of intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and epilepsy. Successful candidates will have recently received a Ph.D. degree, have a strong publication record and have prior multi-photon imaging or whole-cell patch clamp experience. Computer programming skills (e.g. MatLAB) are also desired. Please visit the laboratory website at:

Position Description

A Postdoctoral Associate is a direct pay individual in a Division 3 status. Postdoctoral Associates are appointed positions for the purpose of developing scholarly competence, working under the supervision of a TSRI Faculty member. These appointments are normally not renewed beyond a total of six years. Postdoctoral Associates cannot apply for external funding either as a Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator without prior approval from a Departmental Chair. Postdoctoral Associates do not have consulting privileges.
