The Bioinformatics Analyst will report to Professor Ali Torkamani, Director of Genomics at The Scripps Translational Science Institute and Professor M. Reza Ghadiri, Department of Chemistry at Scripps Research and Member of the Skaggs Institute for Chemical Biology to provide practical, creative, and comprehensive solutions to cutting edge problems in genetics and genomics and chemical biology of the gut microbiome. This role will work with a small team of computational and quantitative biologists on genomics projects primarily focused on the analysis of microbiome populations and their changes in relation to disease and other perturbations.

|Basic Qualifications:|| |
Requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science (CS), Bioinformatics, Biomedical Informatics, Computational Biology, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Master’s degree preferred. Early stage PhD candidates may also be considered.
|Compensation:||Salary is commensurate with experience.|
