Job Description

House Doctors of Colleyville is a Professional Handyman Service Company. We are in need of a Customer Service Rep. (CSR). The CSR’s main function is to receive customer calls by implementing a provided telephone script, answer questions addressed by customer to schedule jobs through open-ended approach and make appointments at the customer’s convenience. The CSR is to assign jobs to Technicians and incorporate all follow up procedures. JOB SUMMARY:
Customer Service Representative is an important and integral part of presenting a professional image to all of our customers.
Satisfy customers in a high quality, cost effective manner.
Performs customer service and sales activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills. Good listening
and interpersonal skills. Punctual and dependable. Ability to follow a system, read various scripts, dispatch and schedule our Technicians. Basic
administration and office skills. Selling practices and knowledge; closing skills. Ability to work independently.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read, write and interpret documents including but not limited to instructions, contracts/agreements, estimates and invoices (primarily in English).
Ability to present information and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and the general public and respond effectively and professionally.
Be able to effectively schedule and communicate appropriately the work schedule to the technicians to maximize efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as proportions and percentages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·        Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
·        Complete the sales lead control sheet for all incoming calls
·        Open, read and route all incoming mail/e-mail
·        Providing information, book appointments and follow up with customers and technicians.
·        Maintain weekly schedule and communicate any changes to the schedule with appropriate customer(s) and technician(s)
·        Provide telephone, office support to technicians
·        Prepare schedules in timely manner
·        Ensure all technicians report in as expected
·        Record and input expenses; save for management review and sign-off
·        Prepare bank deposits
·        Prepare weekly Sales (Royalty) Report
·        Complete time card on a daily basis
·        Prepare payroll statements
·        Fully acclimate, understand and be proficient in operating the software system
·        Prepare and attend safety meetings and understand OSHA safety
·        Monitor vehicles; ensure proper maintenance is performed and tracked
·        Develop 30/31 day follow up system for each technician
·        Open, read and route all incoming mail/e-mail
·        Create and maintain employee files in compliance with both federal and state regulations.
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.
A minimum of five years of office and customer service experience is required.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook with typing of 40 WPM.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
The ability to learn and become proficient in other software products is required.
 
 
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The CSR is frequently required to unpack and store promotional material items and office supplies, including copy paper, which may weigh
up to 35 lbs.
 
The position requires sitting most of the workday.
 
Must be able to work with multiple open tabs or multiple computer screens.
 
The employee may be required to run errands as necessary, either on foot or by driving.
 
A valid driver’s license and insurance may be required.
 

Must be able to pass a background check.
