The Assistant Court Administrator performs work of considerable difficulty assisting in the administrative
planning and coordinating of services of the Gila River Tribal Court. This position is under general supervision
of the Court Administrator and Chief Judge.

0 Assist in financial management activities including budget preparation and monitoring; purchase equipmentand supplies; approve budget expenditures and maintain financial expense reports.Assist in the administration and management of court activities; develop and implement training programs.Prepare and maintain reports.Collect statistics, data records and fiscal reports.Assist court management in the implementation and administration of staffing encompassing classification,recruitment, selection, training, evaluation.
0 Assist in the preparation, administration, management of grants, and other funding available through other
0 Provide collection management of fines, fees, cash bonds, child support, spousal maintenance and all
monetary transactions through the courts.
0 Prepare payments for visiting judges.
0 Assist in the planning, development and implementation of court policies and procedures and/or automated
court system.
0 Oversee jury activity and the planning and scheduling of court staff meetings.
0 Perform other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:0 Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Tribal laws, rules, regulations titles and ordinances.
0 Knowledge of administration and management of court services.
0 Knowledge of judicial and legal practices and procedures.Knowledge of personnel and budget planning management.Skill in team building.Skill in office automation and recordkeeping.Skill in organization development, planning, and decision making.Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement programs and services in the court setting.Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.Ability to observe the strict confidential nature of court records and proceedings.Ability to conduct conferences/meetings and make presentations to employees, judges, attorneys,
representatives of agencies, and the public.
0 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, CommunityOfficials and the general public.
0 Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position; agree to maintain a Drug-free workplace.

Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration,
Criminal Justice or a closely related field and a minimum of four (4) years experience in court administration,
public administration, business administration which included development, analysis, implementation,
administration or research.


Required to pass a background check.Prospective employees shall not possess the following background:

3. Any misdemeanor conviction in any jurisdiction within the last seven (7) years that involved a dishonest
